Abstract

This study explores the impact of workplace harassment policies on employee trust and job satisfaction at Bank Islami Pakistan. In the highly competitive banking sector, employee satisfaction plays a vital role in organizational success. The research investigates the interplay between well-implemented harassment policies, HR practices, and managerial support in fostering a positive work environment. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through surveys from a diverse sample of 350 employees. Findings reveal that clear and effectively enforced harassment policies significantly enhance employee trust in management, which in turn positively affects job satisfaction. Furthermore, managerial support and HR practices such as wellness programs and career development initiatives play crucial roles in strengthening these effects. The study highlights the importance of a supportive organizational culture and offers actionable recommendations for improving workplace environments at Bank Islami and similar organizations in Pakistan’s banking sector.
